E1422 Acetylated Distarch Adipate

Acetylated distarch adipate is made by treating starch with adipic anhydride and acetic anhydride. It is used as a thickener, stabilizer, emulsifier and binder in foods.

E1420 Acetylated Starch

Acetylated starch is made by treating starch with acetic anhydride. It is used as thickener, stabilizer, emulsifier and binder in food. May cause diarrhea.

E1414 Acetylated Distarch Phosphate

Acetylated distarch phosphate is made by treating starch with phosphorus oxychloride and acetic acid. It is a white powder, with an odor of potato starch, with high strength (even in mildly acidic media), high viscosity and resistance to coagulation. Acetylated distarch phosphate is mainly used as a thickener, binder in soups, vegetable and meat sauces and salads. It is also used as a thickener, stabilizer, and texturing agent in mayonnaise, sauces, ketchup and juice concentrates, curds, marmalades, jellies and purees. May cause diarrhea.

E1412 Distarch Phosphate

Distarch phosphate is formed by esterification of starch with sodium trimetaphosphate or phosphorus oxychloride. Give the product white or almost white powder, granules or flakes. Starch phosphate is resistant to heat and acids and is used as a thickener, stabilizer and binder.
